Volunteer Opportunities for 2020
We're seeking volunteers to help with the 2020 Art Show this fall, starting now and continuing throughout the Show. We're also looking for a Program Coordinator to organize the Artist Demos that we provide after every regular meeting. We have contacts and suggestions; the Coordinator's job will be to contact the artists and make arrangements. Go here to contact us for more information on these positions.

Aloft Gallery has moved!
As the County takes the first steps towards lifting restrictions imposed by the Covid 19 pandemic, the Aloft Gallery is ready in its new location! In keeping with the times, Aloft is currently offering a virtual gallery and curbside pickup. Go to www.aloftartgallery.com for full information about the spacious new venue in the historic Baer's Building at 105 South Washington Street in the heart of downtown Sonora.
The Mother Lode Art Association is a nonprofit organization founded in 1951 to promote the arts and the appreciation of the arts in our community.
Meetings are held at 1:00 pm on the third Monday of each month except July, August and December, in the Community Room of the Tuolumne County Public Library at 480 Greenley Road, Sonora. Meetings are announced in the Union Democrat Weekender. Our free artist demos are held after each meeting. Members receive an electronic newsletter six times a year and have access to several venues where we can hang our work free of charge.
