The Mother Lode Art Association (MLAA) will present their 61st Juried Art Show and Exhibit Oct. 11th through Oct. 16th, 2013. The show will be held at the Sonora Opera Hall, 250 S. Washington St. in Sonora.
Cash prizes will be awarded in seven categories as well as Best of Show and People’s Choice. There will also be a Mayor’s Choice Award.
Entry forms are due Friday, Sept. 20th, 2013 with delivery of the art on Monday, October 7th, 2013, 5-7:30 pm or Tuesday, October 8th, 2013, 10 am – 1 pm. Entry forms are available at the Aloft Art Gallery, 167 S. Washington St. or available as a download at the top of the page.

The 60th Annual Mother Lode Art Association Show continues through Sunday October 21st.Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11:00 to 4:00. Open from 3:00 - 4:00 on Wednesday, and Noon to 4:00 on Saturday, Noon to 3:00 on Sunday. Raffle Drawings will be held on Sunday.

Our 60th Anniversary Art Show is coming and that means HELP!! Being part of this experience is always fun and rewarding. Come make memories with us. A variety of opportunities to volunteer are needed and tasks to suit each member’s talents are offered. Taking in entries, hanging art work, raffle duties (making up baskets as well as selling tickets), making delectable eats for the reception, and coverage for the show each day. This year we will be exhibiting for an additional week. Sign ups will be available at the art show meeting on September 17th. However, if you cannot attend, please give me a call and we will find the perfect opportunity for you. Thanks to you,
